48-hour repair guarantee for eligible CVA customers.
Financial compensation if repairs exceed two days.
Next-day availability of maintenance and repair parts.
24/7 digital monitoring through VisionLink and Cat Inspect.
Global rollout starting in early 2026.
Caterpillar Inc. has announced a new Services Commitment program aimed at reducing equipment downtime for customers. Under this initiative, Customer Value Agreement (CVA) holders will get a Two-Day Repair Guarantee, ensuring that common repairs are completed within 48 hours. If the repair is delayed, customers will receive financial compensation. The program will begin rolling out globally from the first quarter of 2026.
The Two-Day Repair commitment applies to CVAs that include dealer labor coverage. Caterpillar and its dealers will work together to complete eligible repairs within the promised time frame. If the deadline is missed, customers will be compensated, adding a strong service assurance for equipment owners who rely on uptime for daily operations.
As part of the Services Commitment, Caterpillar is also introducing a Parts Next-Day guarantee. This ensures that maintenance, wear, and repair parts are available for pickup at the customer’s chosen dealer location by the next day. The focus is to help customers act quickly during breakdowns and keep machines running with minimal interruption.
Ebban Clause, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Caterpillar’s Construction Industries Services Division, said that fast access to parts and repairs is critical when customers face downtime and urgent work schedules.
CVAs under the new program will provide 24/7 access to equipment health management tools such as VisionLink and Cat Inspect. Customers can choose customized coverage options, with portability and transferability available based on individual needs. Support will be delivered through local Caterpillar dealers, along with access to genuine Cat parts and fluids for scheduled maintenance.
The Services Commitment program will be introduced in phases across global markets during 2026 and 2027. In the initial phase, the program will not be available in Brazil, Sweden, Korea, and Russia. Authorized Caterpillar dealers will share detailed terms, conditions, and information related to major repair coverage.
