The much-awaited 19th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana will be released on February 24, 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce the installment from Bhagalpur, Bihar, providing relief to crores of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, Rs 2,000 will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers.

Who Will Benefit from PM Kisan's 19th Installment?

According to government sources, nearly 9.5 crore farmers will receive financial assistance. Specifically, around 80 lakh farmer families in Bihar will benefit from this installment. The scheme, launched on February 1, 2019, provides Rs 6,000 per year in three equal installments to small and marginal farmers to ensure financial security and support in activities related to agriculture.

Bihar Agriculture Minister Mangal Pandey’s Announcement

Bihar's Agriculture Minister Mangal Pandey confirmed the release date during a press conference. He stated that PM Modi will discuss the welfare of farmers and may also make important announcements regarding agricultural development. The grand event will take place at Bhagalpur airport ground, with dignitaries such as Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, the Governor of Bihar, Deputy Chief Ministers, and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in attendance.

Farmer Registry for Easy Access to PM Kisan Installments

To ensure that eligible farmers receive their PM Kisan benefits without any hassle, the government is launching a Farmer ID system. State governments are organizing Farmer Registry camps at Gram Panchayat levels, where farmers can register themselves. In Rajasthan, the Farmer Registry Project under the AgriStack Scheme has already started from February 5, 2025.

How to Register for PM Kisan and Farmer ID?

To register, farmers can visit the nearest Gram Panchayat office or Tehsil office. Additionally, online registration is available through the official portal www.rjfrc.rajasthan.gov.in. Upon registration, farmers will receive an 11-digit Unique Farmer ID linked to their Aadhaar card. This ID will help in digital authentication and provide access to multiple government schemes.

Benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana and Other Schemes

Apart from receiving the Rs 2,000 installment, farmers registering in these camps will also be eligible for benefits from various government schemes, including:

• Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana (solar energy for farmers)
• Mukhyamantri Arogya Ayushman Yojana (health insurance)
• Kisan Credit Card (KCC)
• Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana (livestock insurance)
• Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, and Medical Assistance Programs

Farmers can check their eligibility and payment status online by visiting the official PM Kisan website and entering their Aadhaar number or mobile number.
