According to Madhya Pradesh's Energy Minister, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, the government has made necessary arrangements to ensure a steady and quality power supply for farmers.
From April 4, 2024, the electricity distribution company will apply the new rates for temporary agricultural pump connections in rural areas. Farmers must make an advance payment for at least three months. If the appropriate capacitor is installed, the surcharge for capacitors will not be applicable.
