With the introduction of the new Multicontroller armrest on both Multicontroller and CVXDrive models, Case IH has focused on comfort and control.

These improved models, manufactured in Austria, include several improvements like a more spacious cab, customisable features, integrated AFS Connect telematics, increased power, and a wider footprint.

Case IH has unveiled a ground-breaking lineup of new Puma AFS Connect CVXDrive 185-260 and Multicontroller 185-220 powershift long wheelbase tractors, the most substantial update since the first Puma tractors were released 15 years ago.

These improved models, manufactured in Austria, include several improvements like a more spacious cab, customisable features, integrated AFS Connect telematics, increased power, and a wider footprint. The flagship Puma AFS Connect 260 CVXDrive debuted at the SIMA and EIMA events, where it received considerable acclaim from the agricultural world.

Improved Cab Design and Control Options

The revised cab is one of the most noticeable modifications in the new Puma AFS Connect tractors. Operators now have greater head and legroom, as well as more storage options, thanks to an 8% increase in volume. The most notable improvement, however, is the lower internal noise levels, which measure at 66 decibels, setting a new industry standard.

The interior of the cab features luxury automotive-style detailing, making it a pleasant and appealing workspace. Furthermore, the cab now has 11% more glass area, which improves vision and safety, as well as a broader windshield wiper with 240° coverage.

With the introduction of the new Multicontroller armrest on both Multicontroller and CVXDrive models, Case IH has focused on comfort and control. This feature has several adjustable choices, such as a turn-and-press encoder dial that can be used instead of the 12-inch AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen for display navigation and feature selection.

Operators can also customize CVX transmission and front axle suspension responses, as well as assign LED-lit remote valve paddles to their liking. The AFS 1200 is enhanced with hotkey quick-access buttons.

Furthermore, the semi-active hydraulic cab suspension, which is customizable to individual tastes and terrain, improves ride quality and comfort. The optional Case IH Advanced Vehicle Suspension (AVS) further integrates the semi-active cab suspension, rear hitch, and front axle suspension, giving immediate adjustments to changing conditions for an even smoother ride.

Tractor Implement Management (TIM) with AFS Connect Telematics

The Puma AFS Connect versions include the cutting-edge AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen terminal, which allows operators to configure and operate AccuGuide guidance, alter tractor and ISOBUS implement settings, and configure AFS Connect telematics.

This system collects and transmits operating data to the MyCaseIH internet portal, allowing owners and, with authorization, dealers to remotely monitor and support their machines. Puma AFS Connect tractors come included with a five-year AFS Connect subscription, assuring continuous communication and efficiency.

These tractors also include Tractor Implement Management (TIM), which expands the capabilities of ISOBUS-linked compatible equipment. When working with a baler or other appropriate attachments, TIM allows implements to automatically alter the tractor's speed and steering based on workload, maximizing performance and efficiency.

Powerful Drivelines and Customization Options

The new Puma tractors have an exceptional rated power output of 180-220hp for Multicontroller models and 180-260hp for CVXDrive models, with a compact 2.88m wheelbase. With Power Management turned on, the maximum outputs are 224-260hp and 224-302hp, respectively. Furthermore, larger tire options provide up to 11% more power, 15% more fuel tank volume, and 18% greater contact surface.

The Stage V 6.7-litre FPT NEF six-cylinder engines produce incredible torque, reaching up to 1,250Nm at 1,500rpm on the largest model, while also delivering up to 11% greater power across the range. The 750-hour engine service period assures minimal downtime and enhanced productivity.

The larger and stronger axles on CVX models allow for a gross vehicle weight of up to 15,000kg, allowing for the installation of up to 2.05m rear tires for enhanced traction and flotation.

Enhanced Telemetry Services with Safeguard Connect

Case IH launches Safeguard Connect, a mix of added-value telemetry services that cover all elements of tractor maintenance, to provide unrivalled service assistance.

This innovative service, which includes an extended Safeguard guarantee, a pre-season inspection, dealer remote assistance, Max Service 24/7 back-up, an AFS Connect subscription, and full operator training, complements AFS Connect telemetry.

Finally, the debut of the new Puma AFS Connect tractors represents a step forward in agricultural technology. These cutting-edge machines include a spacios cab with greater sight and control features, as well as powerful drivelines and the most recent AFS Connect telematics.

The new Puma AFS Connect tractors, with customisable functions and increased telemetry services, promise to transform the farming business and boost agricultural output to new heights.
