The Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana provides financial help in the form of a 45 per cent loan, a 45 per cent subsidy, and a 10% contribution from the farmers themselves.
The Changlang district sub-divisional agriculture office has awarded six farmers with brand new tractors under the Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana (ANKY) in an effort to enhance the agricultural sector and encourage farmer self-reliance. The tractors were distributed at a ceremony held at the circuit house when local MLA and civil supplies minister Kamlung Mossang handed over the keys to the overjoyed recipients.
The Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana provides financial help in the form of a 45 per cent loan, a 45 per cent subsidy, and a 10% contribution from the farmers themselves. This will boost the farming community and empower them to improve their agricultural activities in a commercial and sustainable manner.
Minister Mossang highlighted the government's dedication to the well-being and advancement of farmers during his speech. He urged the receivers of the tractors to maximize the use of these important assets. Farmers can improve their individual economic situation while also contributing to the country's total GDP growth by engaging in agriculture and horticulture as successful ventures.
The distribution of tractors under the ANKY scheme is a crucial step toward transforming the Changlang district's agricultural landscape. Modern machinery will enable farmers to boost their output, improve efficiency, and, eventually, improve their livelihoods.

Furthermore, the occasion gave an opportunity for farmers to learn about loan procedures and payback modalities from State Bank of India (SBI) branch manager Rakesh Baruah. This advice can help farmers build solid relationships with financial institutions and gain access to cash for future agricultural endeavours.
The ultimate purpose of the ANKY plan is to encourage self-reliance and dignity in farming while boosting farmers' social and economic status. The government's plan is to empower farmers, allowing them to generate a sustainable income and contribute to the agricultural sector's growth.
The distribution of tractors to the selected farmers in the Changlang area is an important step toward agricultural improvement and self-sufficiency. By providing farmers with sophisticated machinery and information, the government creates a path to their success while also promoting the region's general development and prosperity.
This noteworthy effort is poised to have a revolutionary impact on the lives of Changlang district farmers as they embark on a road of agricultural innovation, production, and prosperity.
