VECV Sales Report April 2025: 6,846 Units Sold; Sales Grew by 27.3%

In April 2025, VECV, a prominent player in India's commercial vehicle market, witnessed a growth of 27.3% in its sales, including EVS. The company, known for its diverse portfolio of trucks and buses, sold a total of 6,846 units in April 2025 compared to 5,377 units in April 2024, inclusive of EVS.

Eicher trucks and buses record 27.8% growth in CV Sales

For April 2025, Eicher sold a total of 6,717 trucks and buses, including electric vehicles. In April 2024, the company sold 5,254 units. This shows a growth of 27.8% compared to April 2024.

Eicher Truck Domestic Sales Results

For April 2025, Eicher sold 2,750 SCV/LMD trucks (below 18.5T), compared to 2,264 units sold in April 2024. This reflects a growth of 21.5% compared to April 2024.

In the HD truck segment (18.5T and above), Eicher recorded sales of 1,319 units in April 2025, compared to 1,263 units in April 2024. This marks a growth of 4.4% compared to April 2024.

In the LMD Bus segment, Eicher sold 2,025 units in April 2025, compared to 1,253 units in April 2024. This shows a growth of 61.6% compared to April 2024.

For HD Buses, Eicher reported sales of 163 units in April 2025, compared to 118 units in April 2024. This represents a growth of 38.1% compared to April 2024.

The total domestic sales of Eicher stood at 6,257 units in April 2025, compared to 4,898 units in April 2024. This indicates a growth of 27.7% compared to April 2024.

Eicher Truck Exports Results

In the LMD export segment, Eicher sold 298 units in April 2025, compared to 137 units in April 2024. This reflects a growth of 117.5% compared to April 2024.

For HD exports, Eicher recorded sales of 38 units in April 2025, compared to 25 units in April 2024. This shows a growth of 52.0% compared to April 2024.

In the export bus segment, Eicher sold 124 units in April 2025, compared to 194 units in April 2024. This indicates a decline of 36.1% compared to April 2024.

The total exports stood at 460 units in April 2025, compared to 356 units in April 2024. This marks a growth of 29.2% compared to April 2024.

Volvo sales increased by 4.97% in April 2025

In April 2025, Volvo Trucks and Buses recorded total sales of 129 units, compared to 123 units in April 2024. This reflects a growth of 4.9% compared to April 2024.

The overall sales for VECV, including electric vehicles, reached 6,846 units in April 2025, compared to 5,377 units in April 2024. This shows a total growth of 27.3% compared to April 2024.
