Key Highlights:
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited(MLMML) has stayed on top as India's top electric commercial vehicle maker for the fourth year in a row in FY25, as per the company's announcement. Their popular brands, Treo and Zor Grand, have been key in pushing more electric vehicles (EVs) into the L5 category, helping EV penetration rise from 16.9% in FY24 to 24.2% in FY25.
The Last Mile Mobility (LMM) division of M&M manages a wide range of 3- and 4-wheeler passenger and cargo vehicles in electric, petrol, CNG, and diesel options. Its lineup includes the Mahindra Jeeto 4-wheeler, Alfa three-wheelers, and electric-only models like the Zor Grand and Treo range.
Despite tough competition from big brands and new companies, MLMML has secured a 37.3% market share in the L5 category. The company has reached major milestones, becoming the first to sell over 200,000 commercial electric vehicles and crossing 100,000 sales of the Treo, which is recognized as India’s top electric auto.
In FY25, MLMML expanded its range by launching the metal-bodied Treo and the Mahindra ZEO, its first four-wheeled electric small commercial vehicle (SCV). After the success of its three-wheeled EVs, the Mahindra ZEO marks the company's entry into the four-wheeled cargo electric vehicle segment.
MLMML electric lineup now includes the ZEO 4W SCV, along with the fuel-efficient Alfa and Jeeto series. The Mahindra ZEO has a 300+ V system for better efficiency, range, and fast charging. Its motor delivers 30 kW of power and 114 Nm of torque. The 21.3 kWh liquid-cooled battery ensures strong performance. It has a top speed of 60 km/h for quicker trips. The payload capacity is up to 765 kg for various business needs. The 2250 mm cargo box allows more loading.
