Eicher-branded commercial vehicles sold 6,715 units in July 2026, up from 5,516 units in July 2025, recording a 21.7% YoY growth.
The brand witnessed steady demand across both light and heavy commercial vehicle segments, contributing significantly to VECV's overall performance.
Domestic Sales Lead the Growth Story
Eicher's domestic commercial vehicle sales reached 6,310 units in July 2026, compared to 5,101 units during the same month last year, representing a 23.7% increase.
Segment | July 2026 | July 2025 | Growth |
SCV/LMD Trucks (<18.5T) | 4,394 | 3,409 | 28.9% |
Heavy Duty Trucks (≥18.5T) | 1,916 | 1,692 | 13.2% |
Total Domestic | 6,310 | 5,101 | 23.7% |
The SCV/LMD truck segment emerged as the strongest performer with nearly 29% growth, while heavy-duty trucks also posted healthy gains, highlighting sustained demand across multiple commercial vehicle categories.
Despite the strong domestic performance, Eicher's export business witnessed a slight decline in July 2026.
The company exported 405 units, compared to 415 units in July 2025, reflecting a 2.4% YoY decline.
Segment | July 2026 | July 2025 | Growth |
SCV/LMD Exports | 313 | 320 | -2.2% |
Heavy Duty Exports | 92 | 95 | -3.2% |
Total Exports | 405 | 415 | -2.4% |
Both SCV/LMD and heavy-duty export shipments recorded small declines during the month. However, the drop in exports had a limited impact due to strong domestic demand.
Volvo Trucks, operating under the VECV umbrella, sold 196 units in July 2026 compared to 175 units in July 2025.
This represents a 12.0% year-on-year growth, reflecting continued demand in the premium heavy-duty truck segment.
VECV delivered another strong monthly performance in July 2026, supported by rising domestic demand for Eicher commercial vehicles and steady growth in Volvo Trucks sales. While exports declined slightly, the company's strong domestic market performance more than compensated for the dip, helping VECV achieve overall sales growth of 21.4% during the month.
