VECV sold 7,167 units in August 2025, up 9.5%.
Eicher sales grew 10.2% to 6,924 units.
Domestic sales reached 6,331 units, up 5%.
Exports surged 132.5% with 593 units.
Volvo sales dipped 6.5% to 243 units.
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, reported total sales of 7,167 units in August 2025, compared to 6,543 units in August 2024, marking a growth of 9.5%. The growth was mainly driven by strong demand for Eicher Trucks & Buses, while Volvo Trucks registered a slight decline.
Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 6,924 units in August 2025, compared to 6,283 units in August 2024, showing a 10.2% growth.
Domestic Sales: 6,331 units in August 2025 vs. 6,028 units in August 2024 (5.0% growth)
Exports: 593 units in August 2025 vs. 255 units in August 2024 (132.5% growth)
