Tata Motors extends support to its customers affected by the flooding in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh regions. The comprehensive service plan of Tata will offer services including extended warranty for affected vehicles, road emergency assistance, 24x7 helpline and free towing services.

Tata Motors has announced to assist customers affected by flooding in Tamil Nadu and parts of Andhra Pradesh caused by the ‘Michaung’ cyclone. The company has implemented a comprehensive service plan to assist customers in this difficult time.

The service plan offers extended warranties, dedicated emergency road assistance, a 24x7 helpline and free towing assistance to affected customers. This service is available across Tata Motors' passenger and electric vehicles range.

Launch of New Service Program-

Warranty and Service Periods Extension-

Tata Motors is extending the standard warranty period, extended warranty period, annual maintenance contract period and free service period for vehicles affected by the cyclone, to ease the burden of its customers facing vehicle maintenance challenges.

This extension applies to contracts expiring between 01-12-2023 to 15-12-2023 and will be valid until 31-12-2023 for affected customers.

Dedicated Emergency Road Assistance Team-

In addition to extended warranties, the company has also established a dedicated emergency road assistance team to handle cases systematically. The help will be prioritised based on customer call dates and area accessibility to ensure a streamlined response to the needs of affected customers.

24 x 7 Helpdesk-

Tata Motors has established a 27 x 7 helpdesk that offers emergency assistance and timely support to distressed customers. Customers can dial the toll-free helpline number 1800-209-8282 for support.

Free Towing Assistance-

Customers can avail towing support to the nearest Tata dealership free of cost. The company has also deployed Flat Bed Trucks, Under Wheel Lifts and more towing vans to enhance on-ground resources.

Tata Motors support initiative will remain available for all affected customers till 31-12-2023. The extended service period will ensure that all customers get the opportunity to avail the services and benefits of the plan. Customers can request further assistance via the Tata Motors customer care helpline mentioned above.
