Tata Motors, India’s leading automobile manufacturer, has taken a significant step toward advancing sustainable mobility by inaugurating its fifth Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF). Named ‘Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect,’ this cutting-edge facility near Delhi is committed to environmentally friendly processes.
Key highlights of the RVSF:
Capacity: The facility can safely disassemble 18,000 end-of-life vehicles annually.
Responsibility: Developed in partnership with Johar Motors, the RVSF is adept at responsibly scrapping passenger and commercial vehicles of all brands.
Commitment: This milestone follows the resounding success of Tata Motors’ four preceding RVSFs in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Surat, and Chandigarh, reiterating the company’s unwavering commitment to advancing sustainable initiatives.
The inauguration was led by Mr Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors. With this new facility, Tata Motors continues to contribute to a greener and more responsible automotive industry.
