These charging stations are spread across 150+ cities, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. This achievement is aimed at boosting range confidence and improving operational efficiency for last-mile delivery operators who rely on electric cargo vehicles.
Tata Motors is not stopping here. The company has signed MoUs with 13 top Charging Point Operators (CPOs) to set up another 25,000 public charging stations within the next 12 months.
All current and upcoming charging points will be integrated with Tata Motors connected vehicle platform, Fleet Edge. This integration will allow customers to easily locate and navigate to nearby chargers in real time, improving convenience and uptime.
Mr. Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Commercial Vehicles, shared his thoughts on this achievement.
“Crossing the 25,000 public charging station mark is a pivotal milestone in our commitment to advancing electric cargo mobility and its enabling ecosystem. With over 10,000 Ace EVs already deployed and having collectively covered more than 6 crore km, we’re seeing growing confidence among customers and transporters in the benefits of using four-wheel electric commercial vehicles. Our recently introduced Ace Pro EV is also gaining traction with its advanced capabilities tailored to evolving customer needs in urban and semi-urban cargo applications.”
Tata Motors currently offers a strong electric SCV lineup, including the Ace Pro EV, Ace EV, and Ace EV 1000. These models come with multiple payload options to meet diverse business needs.
To further support customers, Tata Motors has opened 200+ dedicated EV support centres across India. This ensures smooth operations, quick assistance, and confidence for fleet operators and transporters.
