Commercial electric vehicle platform BLive has partnered with Tata Motors to deploy up to 1,000 electric mini trucks across India. The collaboration aims to accelerate the shift towards electric vehicles in last-mile logistics and begins with the induction of Tata Ace Pro EVs into enterprise logistics operations.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the first batch of Tata Ace Pro EVs will be deployed as part of BLive’s growing electric cargo fleet. The rollout will take place in phases through BLive PRIME, the company’s franchise-owned, company-operated fleet programme.
BLive plans to deploy the electric mini trucks across several high-demand sectors, including e-commerce, quick commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, warehousing, third-party logistics and manufacturing.
The partnership is aimed at meeting the increasing demand for cleaner and more efficient last-mile transportation solutions across India.
BLive PRIME allows entrepreneurs to invest in electric cargo vehicles and become franchise partners. The model requires an initial investment of approximately ₹45 lakh.
Under this structure, franchise partners own the electric vehicles and earn fleet rentals. BLive manages the operational side of the business, including vehicle deployment, customer demand, charging integration, maintenance and day-to-day fleet operations.
This approach is designed to make electric commercial vehicle deployment more scalable while allowing entrepreneurs to participate in the growing cargo EV market.
Sandeep Mukherjee, Founder and CEO of BLive, said the company’s plan to deploy more than 1,000 Tata Ace EVs reflects its ambition to build scale and establish BLive as a leading player in India’s cargo EV segment.
Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head, SCVPU at Tata Motors, said the company is pleased to partner with BLive as it expands electric cargo mobility solutions.
The deployment of up to 1,000 electric mini trucks marks another step towards the electrification of India’s last-mile logistics sector. With demand rising for sustainable cargo transportation across multiple industries, the partnership combines Tata Motors’ electric mini-truck portfolio with BLive’s fleet and operational model.
The phased deployment under BLive PRIME is expected to help expand electric cargo mobility while supporting businesses looking for cleaner last-mile transportation solutions.

The initiative also offers entrepreneurs a new opportunity to participate in India’s rapidly growing commercial electric vehicle market.
