Tata Motors Adds 20 More Ace EVs to Magenta Mobility Fleet

Tata Motors has delivered 20 more Ace EVs to Magenta Mobility, growing its electric fleet to 350 vehicles. This is part of an agreement signed in 2023 between the two companies to deliver a total of 500 Ace EVs. These electric trucks are now running in 10 cities. Together, they have covered around 50 lakh kilometres and helped save about 2,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. 

Magenta Mobility CEO Praises Tata Ace EV for Performance and Reliability

Mr. Maxson Lewis, Founder & CEO of Magenta Mobility, shared his thoughts on the latest delivery of Tata Ace EVs. He said the vehicle has shown strong performance, high uptime, good range, and is easy for drivers to handle. He added that with 350 Ace EVs already in use and 150 more coming soon, Magenta Mobility is expanding its green delivery services across India. He also praised Tata Motors for its dependable service and technology, calling the company a key partner in Magenta’s plan to grow in 16 cities and support clean transport.

Tata Motors Aims to Build a Cleaner Cargo Transport System

Mr. Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said the company is proud to lead India’s shift to electric cargo transport. He called the Tata Ace EV a practical and reliable solution for clean mobility. He also thanked Magenta Mobility for its continued trust in the Ace EV and said their partnership is helping create a smarter and cleaner logistics network in cities. He added that each electric vehicle delivered supports India’s journey towards zero-emission transport and green mobility.

Tata Ace EV: Strong Build, Smart Tech, and Growing Presence in India

The Tata Ace EV is built on a strong platform with durable parts and offers a certified range of 161 km. It can carry up to 1000 kg, making it a powerful choice for small commercial deliveries. The Tata Ace EV is a zero-emission commercial vehicle. It is being used in sectors like e-commerce, courier services, FMCG, FMCD, and dairy.

This electric vehicle runs on Tata Motors’ Fleet Edge platform, which gives real-time updates on vehicle and driver performance. Features like regenerative braking and advanced battery cooling help ensure smooth and reliable operations. With support from over 200 dedicated EV service centres, the Ace EV offers great peace of mind to fleet owners. So far, Tata Motors has sold over 8,000 units, and these have covered more than 6 crore kilometres across India.
