Tata Motors has launched the all-new Tata Intra EV Pickup, strengthening its position in electric commercial mobility. The vehicle features a 72kW electric motor, producing a peak torque of 230 Nm. This enables strong pulling power even under full load. The Intra EV Pickup comes equipped with a 28.2 kWh, IP67-rated battery, designed for Indian weather and usage conditions. It offers a certified range of 211 km on a single charge, supporting multiple duty cycles throughout the day.
The Tata Intra EV Pickup is built for challenging duty cycles and demanding Indian roads. It has a 23% gradeability, ensuring smooth operation on difficult terrain. The vehicle supports fast charging with CCS2 compatibility, allowing 10-80% charging in about 55 minutes. Tata Motors provides a standard battery warranty of 6 years or 2 lakh kilometres, ensuring reliability for fleet operators.
The Intra EV Pickup is priced at Rs 11.95 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available at Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships nationwide. It features a payload capacity of 1,750 kg and offers long load body variants up to 10 feet 2 inches. This makes it suitable for applications such as FMCG, e-commerce, cold-chain, waste management, LPG, and dairy distribution.
Safety is a priority in the Intra EV Pickup. The vehicle includes three-level regenerative braking for improved energy recovery and a separate electronic braking system for enhanced stability and braking efficiency. Tata Motors Fleet Edge technology provides real-time vehicle tracking, health monitoring, and predictive maintenance, helping fleet owners manage expenses and increase uptime.
The cabin is designed for driver comfort, featuring a walkthrough layout, carlike ergonomics, and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS). The electric drivetrain reduces noise and vibration, creating a calm environment for drivers during long hours on the road.
Tata Motors supports the Intra EV Pickup with an extensive electric vehicle ecosystem. This includes over 25,000 charging stations, more than 200 EV service facilities, and home charging options across India. The company also offers customised financing, flexible EMIs, and quick approvals through partnerships with leading banks and NBFCs.
The Intra EV Pickup joins Tata Motors’ lineup of electric small commercial vehicles, including the Ace EV 1000 and Ace Pro EV. The company aims to provide sustainable solutions for fleet owners, drivers, and entrepreneurs across India.
Tata Motors, part of the USD 180 billion Tata Group, has led India’s commercial vehicle industry for over 80 years. The company focuses on performance, innovation, and reliability, offering advanced powertrains and connected technology. Tata Motors operates in India, South Korea, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and SAARC nations.
