OSM aims to deploy 1,500 autonomous cargo and passenger units over the next 24 months.
Dr. Uday Narang, Founder & Chairman, OSM, He highlighted that Swayamgati Cargo proves India can design and manufacture advanced autonomous mobility solutions at a commercially viable price. He called it a milestone in India’s EV and automation journey.
Vivek Dhawan, Chief Strategy Officer, OSM, He emphasized strong interest from airports, factories, SEZs, and technology campuses, noting that autonomous cargo movement will improve operational efficiency and reduce human errors.
Swayamgati Cargo follows a successful Phase 1 pilot, which covered a 3 km mapped route with multiple stops. Now, OSM is entering Phase 2 – real-world commercial deployment across industrial and logistics hubs in India.
Industrial material handling
Airport cargo and baggage movement
Intra-campus logistics
Warehousing operations
E-commerce fulfillment center mobility
Goods transfer in gated tech parks and large facilities
OSM currently operates:
2 manufacturing plants in Faridabad
1 plant in Chakan, Pune
An international assembly unit in Jafza, Dubai
The company also has a service and dealership network of 200+ touchpoints across India, enabling rapid deployment and service support.
Global projections predict the autonomous vehicle market to reach $620 billion by 2030, with logistics and low-speed autonomous mobility emerging as the fastest-growing categories. OSM aims to lead this segment in India.
