GreenCell Mobility’s NueGo has introduced India’s first electric AC sleeper bus service for intercity travel. The electric buses in India will operate on major routes like Delhi-Amritsar, Bangalore-Chennai, and Hyderabad-Rajahmundry.

High-Performance Battery and Extended Range

The buses come with a 450 kWh high-voltage battery system, offering a 350 km range per charge, which can be extended to 600 km daily with fast charging. The buses use regenerative braking technology and produce zero tailpipe emissions.

Built on India’s first monocoque chassis, the buses provide:

• Ergonomic berths with back-rest support
• USB charging ports and night reading lamps
• Modern sanitation facilities

For safety, the buses include:

• ABS brakes with ESC
• Full air suspension with ECAS
• Rollover-engineered structure

Advanced Security and Women’s Safety Measures

NueGo ensures passenger safety with:

• CCTV surveillance and GPS tracking
• Driver breath analyzer tests
• Speed limiting at 80 km/h
• 24-hour helpline for women

Expansion Plans and Sustainable Mobility

NueGo plans to operate on additional routes also including Chennai-Madurai, Vijayawada-Vishakhapatnam, and Bangalore-Madurai.
