Montra Electric Unveils Rhino 5536e and Super Auto at SIAM Green Plate EV Rally

Montra Electric, a subsidiary of the Murugappa Group, introduced its electric heavy-duty truck, the Rhino 5536e, along with the Super Auto passenger three-wheeler at the second SIAM Green Plate EV Rally. The event was aimed at promoting electric mobility in India.

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) organized the event, which promoted electrification in Indian mobility by showcasing Montra Electric's vehicles as sustainable transportation.

HD Kumaraswamy, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel, kicked off the demonstration at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Montra Electric's involvement highlighted its role in developing electric mobility, which aligned with SIAM's commitment to promote the use of electric vehicles (EVs) in India.

Montra Electric's tri-colored display of the Super Auto showed India's development toward more environmentally friendly transportation alternatives. The event emphasized the role of EVs in reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting sustainable mobility. 

Montra Electric intends to continue its innovation in environmentally friendly automobiles, thereby contributing to the country's electrification initiatives.
