
Mahindra reports 21% growth in April 2026 tractor sales. Domestic sales rise 20% and exports jump 30%, marking a strong start to FY27.

Mahindra & Mahindra has reported strong growth in its tractor business for April 2026. The company’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) recorded a solid rise in both domestic and export sales, reflecting positive demand in the agriculture sector.
April marks the beginning of the financial year FY27, and Mahindra has started on a strong note. The company sold a total of 48,411 tractors in April 2026, compared to 40,054 units in April 2025. This represents an overall 21% year-on-year growth.
In the domestic market, Mahindra sold 46,404 tractors in April 2026, up from 38,516 units in the same month last year. This translates to a 20% growth in domestic sales, showing steady demand from Indian farmers despite seasonal variations.
Mahindra’s export performance also showed significant improvement. The company exported 2,007 tractors in April 2026, compared to 1,538 units in April 2025. This marks a strong 30% growth in international markets, highlighting increasing global demand for Mahindra tractors.

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President - Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said the company achieved strong domestic sales of 46,404 tractors, registering a 20% growth over last year.
He also noted that this growth came despite the absence of the Chaitra Navratri period in April this year, which had contributed to higher sales last year. Additionally, export sales reached 2,007 tractors, reflecting a 30% increase over April 2025.

Mahindra’s April 2026 tractor sales performance highlights a strong start to FY27, driven by consistent domestic demand and rising exports. Despite seasonal challenges, the company has managed to deliver impressive growth across key markets, reinforcing its leadership position in the tractor segment.
