Mahindra Logistics Ltd., one of the largest logistics companies in India, has wrapped up the fourth edition of its startup incubator program, Catapult 4.0. The goal of this program is to help Indian startups come up with new ideas to improve logistics and supply chain management.

Eight startups took part in the program, working on projects related to drones, smart warehouses, material handling, computer vision, and sustainability. These startups worked closely with Mahindra Logistics to test their solutions in real business situations. Their work was presented at the Catapult 4.0 premiere day, which was attended by leaders in the industry.

Catapult 4.0

Catapult is a complete platform designed to support startups by offering mentorship, access to technology, and networking opportunities. The program includes masterclass sessions that focus on important strategies like go-to-market approaches and how to scale a business effectively.

The program also provides a co-working space, weekly guidance from leaders, product testing in real-world settings, and the chance to work with global tech partners. In addition, the premiere day launched Catapult Techathon 2.0, a competition where college students are challenged to come up with solutions for business problems over eight weeks.

The startups that took part in the program were Tarsyer, Vecros, Tokere, Ignomagine, Electrike, Quargos, KaviRise, and Nebularc.

Leadership Insights

Rampraveen Swaminathan, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Logistics Ltd., said, "Technology is changing logistics. As we wrap up CATAPULT 4.0, we renew our commitment to bringing tech-driven solutions to the industry. Congratulations to the winners, and we look forward to working together on future innovations."

Venky Nayar, Founder & CEO of Tarsyer, shared, "This partnership has helped us create a solution that improves visibility, control, and safety in logistics, leading the way for autonomous operations."

Alok Das, Co-founder of Quargos, discussed the impact of their QARGOS F9 CLV, a logistics vehicle with a 225-litre cargo volume, 100 kg payload, and a 150 km range. This vehicle can reduce costs in urban logistics by up to 90%.

Sumana Mandal, Founder & Director of Ignomagine, talked about how the program helped their company grow from offering a single product to becoming a robotics solutions provider. They introduced the EnMac series, which is an AI-powered warehouse solution designed for better efficiency and scalability.

Mahindra Logistics’ Catapult 4.0 has helped startups work with industry leaders to create smarter logistics solutions. Through mentorship, technology access, and real-world testing, the program has helped these startups turn their ideas into successful business models.
Focusing on digital transformation, automation, and sustainability, Mahindra Logistics is leading the way in supply chain management.
