Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a leader in the utility vehicle market and the LCV <3.5t segment, has announced the price for its new Veero CNG model. The Veero CNG is available in two trims. The base 1.4 XXL SD V2 CNG truck is priced at ₹ 8.99 Lakh ex-showroom, while the 1.4 XXL SD V4 (A) CNG trim costs ₹ 9.39 Lakh ex-showroom. Sales of the Veero CNG begin today.
Veero CNG: A New Benchmark in the LCV Segment
The Veero CNG is built on Mahindra’s modular Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), setting new standards for cost of ownership, safety, capability, cabin comfort, and design. It demonstrates Mahindra’s commitment to clean mobility and sustainability.
Impressive Mileage and Range
The Veero CNG delivers excellent fuel efficiency with a mileage of 19.2 km/kg. Its 150-litre CNG tank offers a class-leading pure CNG range of 480 km. A 4.5-litre petrol tank ensures an additional range, bringing the total combined range to over 500 km, making it ideal for both intracity and intercity use.
High Payload Capacity and Powerful Engine
With a payload capacity of 1.4 tons and a 3035 mm cargo length, the Veero CNG can handle a wide variety of cargo. Its Turbo CNG engine produces 67 kW of power and 210 Nm of torque, ensuring timely deliveries and high profitability.
Safety and Comfort Features
The Veero CNG comes with advanced safety features such as a driver-side airbag, AIS096 crash safety standards, high-strength steel construction, and a False Start Avoidance System. The cabin is designed for comfort, offering seating for three, an air conditioner, reclining driver’s seat, and a first-in-segment TFT cluster.
Low Cost of Ownership
The Veero CNG ensures a low cost of ownership with a 20,000 km service interval. Features like Engine Stop Start, Power mode, and a driver fuel coaching system add to its efficiency.
Bold Design and Road Presence
The Veero CNG features a bold, modern design with a distinctive grille and vertical headlamps, giving it a strong road presence. It’s a standout in the LCV segment and reflects its tagline: "Soch Se Aage."
