Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has reported strong tractor sales growth for February 2026. The company sold a total of 34,133 tractors, registering a 34% increase compared to 25,527 units sold in February 2025. The growth was driven by strong domestic demand and steady export performance.

Strong Growth in Domestic Tractor Sales
Mahindra sold 32,153 tractors in the domestic market in February 2026. This is higher than 23,880 units sold in February 2025, marking a 35% year-on-year growth.
The domestic market remained the biggest contributor to the company’s total monthly tractor volumes. Improved rural sentiment and better farm conditions supported higher demand during the month.
Export Sales See 20% Increase
In the export segment, Mahindra recorded sales of 1,980 tractors in February 2026. This compares to 1,647 units sold in the same month last year, reflecting a 20% growth.
International markets also contributed positively to overall sales performance.

Mahindra YTD Tractor Sales Performance (April 2025 - February 2026)
For the year-to-date (YTD) period, Mahindra’s total tractor sales stood at 4,81,368 units, compared to 3,89,707 units in the corresponding period last year. This represents a 24% growth.
Both domestic and export markets recorded similar growth rates during the financial year so far.
Domestic YTD Sales
Domestic tractor sales reached 4,62,527 units during April 2025 to February 2026. In the same period last year, sales were 3,74,512 units, reflecting a 24% increase.
Export YTD Sales
Export sales for the YTD period stood at 18,841 units, compared to 15,195 units last year. This also marks a 24% year-on-year growth.

Company Statement on Sales Performance
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said the company sold 32,153 tractors in the domestic market during February 2026, registering a 35% growth over last year.
He added that robust growth in the rabi sowing area, healthy reservoir levels, and a favourable kharif harvest are strengthening cash flows in rural markets. Positive farmer sentiment, along with the Navratri festival during the month, is expected to further support tractor demand.
In exports, the company sold 1,980 tractors, achieving a 20% growth over last year.
