L&T Signs Distribution Agreement with FAYAT to Market BOMAG Road Equipment in India

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with FAYAT Road Equipment Division (FRED) India to market BOMAG's specialised road construction equipment across India.

Under the agreement, L&T's Construction & Mining Machinery business will handle the marketing, sales, spare parts distribution and after-sales service for BOMAG equipment. The portfolio includes German-engineered road milling machines, soil stabilisers and cement spreaders.

L&T Expands Its Road Construction Equipment Portfolio

The partnership will add specialised BOMAG machinery to L&T's existing road equipment range. This is expected to help the company offer broader solutions for road construction, road maintenance and infrastructure development projects across the country.

L&T will also provide lifecycle service support for the equipment through its nationwide service network. Spare parts availability and logistics will be supported by the company's central logistics warehouse in Nagpur.

Focus on Sales and After-Sales Support

Commenting on the agreement, Anil V Parab, Senior Executive Vice President and Whole-time Director for Manufacturing at L&T, said the company's Construction & Mining Machinery business has a long history of introducing advanced equipment technologies in India.

He said the addition of BOMAG's specialised road construction equipment further strengthens this legacy, while L&T's nationwide service network will support customers with service and parts throughout the equipment lifecycle.

The agreement brings together L&T's extensive sales and service reach in India with FAYAT's BOMAG road equipment technology, expanding the availability of specialised machinery for the country's growing road and infrastructure sector.
