JEM opens five new showrooms in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Trivandrum, Ahmedabad, and Pune.
Aims to expand EV presence across key logistics and industrial hubs.
JEM TEZ offers a 300+ km range and 80 kW motor power for last-mile delivery.
Supported by strategic partnerships for charging, financing, and after-sales services.
Plans next expansion phase in Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM), a leading manufacturer of electric commercial vehicles, has taken a major step toward strengthening its nationwide footprint. The company has inaugurated five new showrooms across India, marking a significant expansion in the country’s electric mobility landscape.
The new showrooms have been launched in New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Trivandrum, Ahmedabad, and Pune, bringing the company’s flagship JEM TEZ electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) closer to customers in key metropolitan regions.
The five-day inauguration drive began on November 3, 2025, and saw participation from local dignitaries and JEM’s leadership team, led by Vikash Lohia, Deputy Managing Director of Jupiter Group.
Each city was strategically chosen to strengthen JEM’s reach in diverse regional markets. The Delhi and Ghaziabad showrooms cater to North India’s growing logistics ecosystem, supported by Delhi’s EV Policy 2.0, which aims for 95% EV adoption by 2027.
In Pune and Ahmedabad, the new facilities tap into the industrial corridors of Maharashtra and Gujarat, which together account for 22.1% of India’s commercial vehicle market. Meanwhile, the Trivandrum showroom enhances JEM’s footprint in Kerala, where over 235,000 electric vehicles are registered, contributing to an 11.33% EV market share.
Each new showroom has been designed to provide customers with a comprehensive and personalized experience. Visitors can access:
Trained product specialists for expert guidance
Personalized consultations based on fleet and business needs
Test drive facilities for the JEM TEZ electric LCV
The JEM TEZ stands out as a powerful, efficient, and eco-friendly vehicle for urban logistics. It offers a certified range of over 300 km, 80 kW peak motor power, and 23% gradeability, making it ideal for intra-city freight, last-mile delivery, and distribution operations.
Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, highlighted that this expansion represents the company’s ongoing commitment to developing a strong national presence in the electric commercial vehicle segment.
“The cities selected for these showrooms represent India’s diverse logistics and policy environments. Each one offers a fertile ground for accelerating electric vehicle adoption,” said Vivek Lohia.
Adding to this, Vikash Lohia emphasized that JEM’s growth is backed by the Jupiter Group’s robust manufacturing expertise, gained from decades of experience in railway freight wagon production.
“Every JEM TEZ vehicle undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure it meets the operational demands of Indian roads and fleets,” he added.
JEM is actively collaborating with industry partners to provide an integrated EV ecosystem. Its partnerships with Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, and Tapfin cover a wide range of customer support areas, including:
Charging infrastructure access
Financing options and lease support
After-sales service and maintenance
Fleet management and business assistance through the JEM Udaan program
These collaborations ensure that fleet operators and logistics companies can easily transition to electric mobility with complete operational support.
With the latest additions, JEM now operates seven showrooms across Bangalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Trivandrum.
The company has also announced plans to expand further into Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai, strengthening its pan-India dealership network and improving accessibility for commercial fleet operators.
Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM) is a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL), a diversified mobility solutions provider with operations in freight wagons, locomotives, commercial vehicles, and allied components.
The parent company, JWL, has manufacturing facilities in Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Indore, Jabalpur, and Aurangabad, and maintains partnerships across Europe to ensure global-quality standards in its products.
Fleet operators, logistics providers, and small business owners interested in the JEM TEZ can visit any of the company’s showrooms during regular operating hours.
Jupiter Electric Mobility’s expansion marks a major step toward strengthening India’s electric commercial vehicle ecosystem. With five new showrooms and strategic partnerships, JEM is making EV adoption more accessible and practical for logistics and fleet operators. The company’s focus on innovation, reliability, and customer support reflects its vision of building a sustainable transportation future and accelerating India’s transition toward cleaner, more efficient mobility solutions.
