Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd (JEM) has launched a new mobile app called "JEM Saathi". This app will help electric vehicle (EV) users in India. This app aims to improve the EV ecosystem by offering services like vehicle maintenance updates, finding local businesses, and accessing a wide network of charging stations, which are crucial for commercial EV operators.

Features of JEM Saathi app

The JEM Saathi app combines several features to make owning and running an EV easier. One of its main features is a collaboration with Pulse Energy, based in Bengaluru, providing access to over 1,300 fast chargers through the app.

The app users can locate nearby charging stations, check their availability, and manage their charging needs. This helps address concerns about range and makes EVs more practical for businesses. The fast chargers also significantly reduce charging time, supporting JEM’s aim to promote sustainable and dependable transportation solutions.

To improve service accessibility, JEM has teamed with Automovill, a digital platform for on-demand car care services, and Battwheels, a subscription-based service for battery replacement and maintenance at your doorstep.

Together, these collaborations provide a robust network of over 140 service stations across India, providing comprehensive after-sales support and maintenance solutions to business EV users. This assures the consistent maintenance of vehicles, which is critical for fleet operators.

Leadership Insights

According to Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, "Adopting EVs is more than just purchasing a vehicle; it also demands easy access to charging, maintenance, and commercial prospects. With the JEM Saathi App, we ensure that our consumers have everything they require at their fingertips."

The launch of the JEM Saathi app aligns with JEM's objectives to expand its electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) business while also developing an ecosystem that prioritizes customer convenience, service accessibility, and sustainable mobility solutions. The app's business discovery tool empowers operators by linking them with local opportunities, demonstrating JEM's dedication to driver empowerment.
