JCB India has introduced its first diesel-powered Telescopic Boom Platform, named the T 65D. This new machine is manufactured at JCB’s advanced facility in Jaipur and offers impressive specifications, including a platform height of 65 feet and 4 inches and a reach of 56 feet and 6 inches. It can carry a maximum load of 450 kilogrammes, making it a robust addition to JCB's product lineup.
Key Features and Safety
The T 65D is powered by a reliable JCB diesel engine and includes two work zones and an 8-foot platform. Weighing 12,500 kilogrammes, it comes standard with four-wheel-drive and advanced safety features such as a secondary guarding system and crush hazard protection.
These features ensure that operators are safe during use. Additionally, the machine enhances productivity with intuitive controls, an oscillating starting angle, and an ergonomic joystick design, which reduces operator fatigue.
Market Growth and Global Reach
Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, emphasized India's developing economy and rising need for such equipment, forecasting significant development in the home market in the coming years. The T 65D is not only designed for the Indian market, but it is also being sold to developed markets throughout the world, demonstrating JCB's commitment to the 'Make in India' effort.
The equipment is suited for usage in the building, cement, oil, and gas sectors, as well as airports, warehouses, and other locations where heights must be maintained.
