JBM Electric Vehicles, a company under the Indian conglomerate JBM Group, has officially launched its presence in Europe by introducing the ECOLIFE electric city bus at the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2025 held in Hamburg. The launch event was led by Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman of the JBM Group.
The ECOLIFE electric bus offers a range of up to 400 kilometres on a single charge. It supports ultra-fast charging, which makes it suitable for daily city operations. The bus is built with a lightweight stainless steel body and uses modular battery packs. A permanent magnet synchronous motor powers the vehicle, designed especially for urban transport needs.

JBM EV Sets Up Headquarters in Europe
To support its European operations, JBM EV has opened its regional headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. This hub will handle sales, marketing, after-sales services, and partnerships. Daniel Frade is leading the operations as Director – Sales, Marketing & Aftersales – Europe.
Partnership with KazenMaier in Germany
JBM Electric Vehicles has forged a strategic alliance with KazenMaier, a leading German leasing firm, to launch its market expansion in Germany. This partnership aims to roll out over 100 state-of-the-art electric buses, enhancing sustainable urban mobility across German cities with JBM’s innovative E-Verse ecosystem and KazenMaier’s robust leasing network. This partnership will offer complete solutions, including electric buses, charging systems, and financing options to promote sustainable public transport.
Showcase of E-Verse Ecosystem
At the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2025 in Hamburg, JBM Electric Vehicles showcased its E-Verse ecosystem, a comprehensive platform integrating fast-charging infrastructure, in-house lithium-ion battery technology, and operational support services.

JBM EV already has experience with over 11,000 electric buses that are either in operation or under production worldwide. The company operates one of India's largest electric bus manufacturing facilities, producing high-quality vehicles with expertise, on a scale comparable to leading global hubs outside China.
Future Goals
JBM Electric buses have covered a distance of more than 165 million kilometres. The JBM electric buses have transported over 1 billion passengers. The company aims to expand these numbers to 3 billion kilometres and 10 billion passengers soon. These efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on improving health, combating climate change, and enhancing urban infrastructure.
