Iveco Wins €225 Million Contract for 900 Buses from Austria

Iveco Bus, the Iveco Group's urban, intercity, and tourist bus brand, inked a framework agreement to provide over 900 Crossway buses to Austrian ÖBB Postbus AG, the country's largest bus business and market leader in regional bus services.

The Iveco Crossway is a popular intercity bus that combines operational efficiency, versatility, and performance, accounting for about half of the European market share in its category.

The frame deal includes 540 vehicles to be supplied by the end of 2026, with an option for an additional 380 units to be delivered by the end of 2028, for a total of approximately 225 million euros (Rs 1,977 crore).

Domenico Nucera, President of Iveco Group's Bus Business Unit, stated, "This new important contract demonstrates that we are implementing the right strategy.
