GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd has partnered with Flipkart to support more sustainable logistics operations. This collaboration will involve GreenLine deploying its fleet of LNG-powered trucks, which will help Flipkart in its mission to decarbonize its delivery operations.
LNG-Powered Trucks in the First Phase
In the first phase of the partnership, GreenLine will deploy 25 LNG-powered trucks. These trucks will feature 46 ft containers with a capacity of 110 cubic meters (CBM). These vehicles will transport various e-commerce goods, including B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) shipments.
The initial focus will be on routes between West to North India, with plans to expand to more regions in the future, including North to South and West to South corridors.
Commitment to Sustainability
This partnership aligns with the sustainability goals of both GreenLine and Flipkart. GreenLine’s LNG fleet complements Flipkart’s efforts to reduce its logistics carbon footprint.
Flipkart has also taken steps in deploying 10,000 electric vehicles (EVs) as part of its push for cleaner operations. By integrating both LNG and EVs, Flipkart aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support a more sustainable future.

GreenLine’s Impact on CO2 Emissions
GreenLine continues to serve various industries, including cement, steel, FMCG, and consumer goods, promoting sustainable mobility solutions across India. Over the past two years, GreenLine’s sustainable initiatives have reduce CO2 emissions by 30% compared to traditional diesel vehicles, equivalent to a reduction of 7,398 tonnes of carbon emissions.
