Greaves Cotton Limited, an Indian diversified engineering company, has reported a consolidated revenue of ₹751 crore for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025. This marks a 13% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) increase. Standalone revenue for the quarter stood at ₹502 crore, reflecting a similar 13% Y-o-Y growth.
Strong Performance from Engineering and Retail Segments
The company's Engineering and Retail segments showed strong growth, with a 14% increase in the Engineering segment and a 13% rise in the Retail segment for Q3 FY25. Subsidiaries also played a major role in the financial performance. Excel contributed ₹69 crore, while Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) added ₹184 crore to the consolidated revenue.
Showcasing Innovation at Auto Expo 2025
At the Auto Expo 2025 – The Motor Show, Greaves Cotton displayed a variety of innovative technologies. These included fuel-agnostic engines, components, motion control systems, and powertrain technologies, such as a hydrogen-powered engine. Greaves Electric Mobility showcased electric two- and three-wheeler concepts, including the Ampere Nexus and Magnus variants, along with advanced charging solutions for two-wheelers.

Nagesh Basavanhalli, Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Greaves Cotton, emphasized the company's role in driving India's transition to a more sustainable and inclusive economy through fuel-agnostic solutions and a customer-focused approach.
Chief Financial Officer Akhila Balachandar highlighted the strong performance of the Engineering and Retail segments, reflecting the success of the company’s diversification strategy.
