Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has begun FY27 on a strong note, reporting robust growth in its tractor business during the first quarter ended June 2026. Supported by higher tractor sales, improved market share, and healthy financial performance, the company delivered its best-ever first-quarter results while continuing to outperform the domestic tractor industry.

Escorts Kubota sold 36,862 tractors during Q1 FY27, registering a 20.5% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 30,581 units sold in the corresponding quarter of FY26.
The company also outperformed the overall domestic tractor industry during the quarter. While the industry recorded 18.6% growth, Escorts Kubota's domestic tractor sales increased by 22.9%, helping the company strengthen its market share.
This performance highlights the company's growing presence in the Indian tractor market, backed by strong customer demand and improved operational execution.
The company's Agri Machinery Products segment delivered impressive financial performance during the quarter.

The growth was mainly driven by higher tractor sales and strong demand across the agricultural machinery segment.
The tractor business reported an EBIT margin of 10.8% during Q1 FY27.
Although margins were slightly lower than the same period last year due to rising input and commodity costs, Escorts Kubota maintained healthy profitability through effective cost control measures and disciplined business execution.
On a standalone basis, Escorts Kubota delivered solid financial results across key parameters.
