EKA Mobility has appointed Rohit Srivastava as its new Chief Growth Officer. This strategic addition to the leadership team comes as EKA Mobility, supported by equity partners Mitsui Co Ltd from Japan and VDL Groep from the Netherlands, gears up for significant growth.
Experience and Background
Srivastava has more than three decades of distinguished experience in sales and marketing. He began his career at TATA Motors, where he held several key positions. Most recently, he was the Business Head for Commercial Vehicles Passenger (CVP) at TATA Motors Ltd.
In this role, he oversaw electrification activities and pushed EV adoption in public transportation sectors such as buses, vans, and minivans. Srivastava, an engineer by training and CII-Fulbright fellow, is well-known for his customer-centric approach, lean thinking, and value chain optimization.
He has been instrumental in establishing EV portfolios and tech stacks for EV products through his expertise in product strategies, project quality, cost, and timing objectives, and driving product development, testing, and validation.
Role and Responsibilities
His responsibilities will encompass sales, marketing, business development, and product management. Srivastava is expected to play an important role in driving EKA Mobility's growth and success, as he has extensive expertise in establishing innovative business models and encouraging value creation from the ground up.
