EKA Mobility, a subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries, has joined hands with Skyline Motors to bring eco-friendly transportation to Uttarakhand. The company has supplied its EKA 9 electric buses to Skyline Motors, which are now running on the Dehradun-Rishikesh route via Haridwar.

These electric buses cover a distance of 300 kilometers daily, providing a green and cost-effective travel solution for passengers. This initiative supports Uttarakhand's goals for sustainable transport, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and offer reliable, energy-efficient public transit.

Rohit Srivastava, Chief Growth Officer of EKA Mobilitymentioned that the partnership aligns with Uttarakhand’s vision for greener transportation. The EKA 9 buses are designed to be both energy-efficient and emission-free, while being economical for operators.

The EKA 9 bus is a 9-meter air-conditioned vehicle with a seating capacity of 35+1. It is powered by a 200 kW battery, ensuring a smooth, energy-efficient journey for passengers.

Anil Dixit, Managing Director of Skyline Motors, expressed that this collaboration introduces a green alternative for intercity transport in the region. He emphasized the buses' daily 300-kilometer range and their potential to boost regional connectivity.

This deployment showcases EKA Mobility’s commitment to promoting sustainable transportation in India, paving the way for greener public transport options.
