Blue Energy Motors hands over LNG trucks to Inland World Logistics, supporting eco-friendly transport with reduced emissions and reliable performance.
Blue Energy Delivers 8 LNG Trucks to Inland World Logistics

Key Highlights:

  • Blue Energy Motors delivered LNG trucks to Inland World Logistics at its Chakan plant.
  • LNG trucks emit 30% less CO₂ while maintaining power and load.
  • Over 800 LNG trucks have cut 14,000 tonnes of CO₂ across 50 million km.
  • Plans are in place to expand LNG refuelling stations across India.
  • Inland World Logistics aims to cut emissions without losing efficiency.

Blue Energy Motors has delivered a fleet of LNG-powered heavy-duty trucks to Inland World Logistics, marking a new step in the company’s move towards cleaner transportation. The truck handover ceremony happened at Blue Energy Motors’ factory located in Chakan, Pune.

What Are LNG Trucks?

LNG stands for Liquefied Natural Gas. It is a cleaner fuel compared to diesel. Trucks that run on LNG help lower harmful emissions and can also be cheaper to operate. These new LNG trucks are designed to provide the same power and load capacity as diesel trucks, but with up to 30% less carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.

A Step Towards Greener Transport

This delivery is part of Blue Energy Motors’ plan to reduce pollution in the freight transport sector in India. With more companies choosing LNG vehicles, the industry is slowly shifting toward sustainable solutions.
So far, Blue Energy Motors has over 800 LNG trucks running on Indian highways. These trucks have travelled more than 50 million kilometres, which has helped reduce CO₂ emissions by around 14,000 tonnes. That’s the same as the CO₂ absorbed by about 5.6 lakh trees.

Building the Future of Green Trucking

To support the use of LNG trucks, Blue Energy Motors is also working with other companies and partners to build more LNG refuelling stations across the country. This will make it easier for logistics firms to switch from diesel to LNG.

Leadership Insights:

Anirudh Bhuwalka, CEO of Blue Energy Motors, said that the company wants to promote clean mobility on a large scale. He believes fleet-wide adoption and expanding into more regions will help India go green faster.

Praveen Somani, Managing Director of Inland World Logistics, shared that moving to LNG trucks fits well with their aim to cut down carbon emissions without affecting performance or service quality.

About Blue Energy Motors

It's plant, which started operations in September 2022, can produce up to 10,000 trucks every year.
