Domestic commercial vehicle sales also grew by 1%, reaching 37,815 units. Annual Growth for FY 2024-2025

Looking at the entire fiscal year, Bajaj Auto saw a 7% increase in total sales, reaching 4,650,966 units, up from 4,350,933 units in the previous year. This growth was mainly driven by strong export performance, which grew by 14% to 1,863,281 units. Domestic sales increased by a smaller 3%, reaching 2,787,685 units.
The annual results highlight a continuing shift in Bajaj's sales mix, with exports now making up about 40% of total sales, up from 37% last year. Exports of two-wheelers saw a strong growth of 13%, reaching 1,674,060 units.

Bajaj Auto’s Global Strategy

Commercial vehicle exports performed exceptionally well, rising by 19% to 189,221 units for the full year, highlighting Bajaj Auto's growing presence in international markets. This continued growth in exports reflects the company’s strategic focus on expanding its global footprint while still maintaining a strong position in the competitive domestic market.

CMV360 Says

Bajaj Auto’s growth in exports shows its strong global position. The 1% increase in total sales for March is a sign of steady performance. The 7% annual growth is also a positive, especially with tough competition. The rise in commercial vehicle exports shows Bajaj’s success in expanding internationally. However, domestic sales grew only by 1%, which suggests local competition is still a challenge.
