In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 7% decrease in sales, with 11,169 commercial vehicles sold in November 2024.

Ashok Leyland, India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, reported a decline of 3% in overall sales for November 2024, encompassing domestic and export markets. The company sold 12,110 units in November 2024 compared to 12,486 units in November 2023.

Segment-wise Gross CV Sales for November 2024

Performance: The company recorded a 3% decrease in Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, including a 3% growth in the M&HCV and an 11% decline in the LCV category.

Category-wise Breakdown: The M&HCV truck category sold 7,149 CVs, up from 6,933 in November 2023. For the LCV category, 4,961 CVs were sold in November 2024, compared to 5,553 in November 2023.

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 7% decrease in sales, with 11,169 commercial vehicles sold in November 2024, compared to 12,049 units in the same month last year.

Ashok Leyland's domestic sales figures for November 2024 compared to November 2023:

M&HCV Truck Segment: The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck category reported a decline of 2% in sales, with 6,609 units sold in November 2024 compared to 6,755 units in November 2023.

LCV Category: The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) category saw a 14% decline, with 4,560 units sold in November 2024 compared to 5,294 units sold in the same month last year.

On a positive note, the company experienced a 115% growth in export sales, with 941 units shipped in November 2024, up from 437 units in November 2023.

Segment-wise Export Sales Performance (November 2024)

Growth in M&HCV Category: Export sales in the M&HCV category experienced a growth of 200%, with 540 units sold in November 2024, compared to 178 units in November 2023.

Growth in LCV Category: Ashok Leyland witnessed a growth in sales of 55% in the LCV category, with 401 units sold in November 2024, up from 259 units in November 2023.
