SANY India has introduced the SY35U PRO, a next-generation 3.5-tonne hydraulic excavator, on the occasion of the country’s 78th Independence Day. The machine is designed and manufactured at the company’s Pune facility and has been tailored to meet the needs of India’s infrastructure, urban construction, and rural development projects.
The SY35U PRO reflects SANY India’s focus on localisation and customised solutions. With growing demand for compact machines in civil works, irrigation, building projects, and farm utilities, this new excavator aims to deliver high performance, durability, and operator comfort under varied working conditions.
The SY35U PRO comes with a fuel-efficient engine and an advanced load-sensing hydraulic system, ensuring smooth and responsive operations even in tight and challenging worksites.
To reduce downtime, the machine offers a 5,000-hour hydraulic service interval and ground-level filter access for easier maintenance.
Operator comfort has been prioritised with features like:
Low-noise cabin
Optional high-capacity air-conditioning
Adjustable suspension seating
Ergonomically placed controls
For safety and efficiency, the excavator includes a boom-mounted LED work lamp and a battery disconnect switch.
The SY35U PRO will be available in two variants - Canopy and AC Cabin. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of applications such as civil construction, real estate projects, irrigation systems, and farm utilities.
Speaking on the launch, Shashank Pandey, Head of Excavator Business, SANY India, highlighted that the SY35U PRO will strengthen the company’s position in the compact excavator segment. He added that with purpose-built equipment and a strong dealer network, SANY India aims to play a major role in supporting the nation’s growing infrastructure needs.
The launch of the SY35U PRO marks SANY India’s commitment to delivering compact, efficient, and locally manufactured equipment for India’s infrastructure growth. With advanced features, improved operator comfort, and low maintenance needs, the 3.5-tonne excavator is set to support diverse applications and boost productivity, further strengthening SANY India’s role in the construction equipment sector.
