JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has expanded its Off-the-Road (OTR) tyre portfolio by launching four new tyres at CII EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition. The event is the 13th edition of EXCON and is being held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).
The newly launched tyres are designed for construction, mining, infrastructure and material-handling applications, supporting a wide range of heavy-duty equipment.
The new products were unveiled by Dr. R. Mukhopadhyay, Director (R&D), JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. The launch highlights the company’s focus on advanced engineering, durability and safety for modern equipment needs.
JK Tyre introduced the SKY GRIP tyre (355/55D625), specially engineered for Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs) and Boom Lifts.
This tyre is suitable for:
Construction and infrastructure maintenance
Warehousing and industrial operations
Elevated work applications
The SKY GRIP tyre offers high stability, strong traction and reliable performance at height. It is compatible with:
Articulated and telescopic boom lifts
Rough terrain aerial platforms
Three additional tyres were launched to meet the demands of industrial and mining operations:
14.00-25 GTL PLUS: Designed for backhoe loaders, this tyre provides better stability and durability during loading and excavation tasks.
23.5-25 GTL PLUS: Built for wheel loaders, it delivers strong traction and long-lasting performance on tough working surfaces.
JK Tyre also launched the 14.00-20 VEM AS-UG, developed specifically for underground mining applications.

This tyre is designed to improve safety and durability in challenging mining environments.
Commenting on the launch, Srinivasu Allaphan, Director – Sales & Marketing, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., said that India is going through a major infrastructure growth phase.
