Goyal has spent 20 years at Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. He worked across the Automotive and Farm Equipment Businesses, primarily in Finance and Accounts. His leadership roles included CFO of the Farm Equipment Sector, CFO of the Auto Sector, and most recently, CFO of the combined automotive and farm equipment business.

Over the past six years, Goyal focused on strengthening governance standards and improving financial performance. He described this period as transformative for the company.
