The scheme is specially designed for small and marginal livestock farmers of Rajasthan. Many such families depend on animal husbandry for their livelihood but struggle due to a lack of money. With this interest-free loan, they can now take better care of their animals and grow their income.
Loan Amount: Up to ₹1,00,000
Interest-Free Period: 1 year
For Whom: Small and marginal livestock farmers of Rajasthan
Purpose: Buying animals, arranging fodder, medicines, and building or repairing animal sheds
Repayment Rule: No interest is charged if the loan is repaid on time. Late payment will attract interest
To make the process easier and more transparent, the government has kept minimal requirements:
Required Documents: Jan Aadhaar and Aadhar Card
Guarantors: Two referrers needed
Registration: Must register on Rajasthan Single Sign On (SSO) portal
Loan Limitations: Applicant must not already have more than two active loans
One of the biggest reliefs for farmers is that there is no requirement for a CIBIL score. Even those with a poor credit history can apply. The state government has also removed old obligations like:
No need to mortgage land or property
No need to be a member of a dairy committee
No need for a recommendation from the committee secretary
Livestock farmers can use the ₹1 lakh interest-free loan for:
