The Madhya Pradesh government is organizing a 3-day State Level Agriculture Fair in Narsinghpur from 26 to 28 May 2025, to promote modern farming methods and encourage investment in agriculture-based industries. The event, themed "Krishi Udyog Sammelan" (Agriculture Industry Conclave), is part of the state’s efforts to uplift farmers by introducing advanced technologies and providing easy access to subsidized equipment.
This large-scale agricultural fair is being held under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with the vision of bringing happiness and prosperity to farmers across Madhya Pradesh. Following the success of the Industry Conclave for investment and employment, the state has now shifted its focus to the farming sector by organizing agriculture fairs in all divisions.
The Narsinghpur event will focus on both modern agricultural techniques and setting up agro-based industries. Farmers attending the fair will also be able to book advanced farming equipment at a subsidy, making the adoption of technology easier and more affordable.
As per Agriculture Secretary M. Selvendram, the fair is designed to help farmers explore the latest in agriculture, horticulture, and allied sectors. After the successful Sitamau event in Mandsaur, this is the second major fair organized in 2025.
The fair will be inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, in the presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Held at the Krishi Upaj Mandi, Narsinghpur, the 3-day Agriculture Industry Conclave will focus on:
Promoting agriculture and horticulture-based industries
Encouraging investments in food processing
Connecting farmers with markets through FPOs
Dialogues and collaboration between farmers, industrialists, and policymakers
The event will also include foundation stone laying ceremonies, industry unit inaugurations, and distribution of land allotment letters and letters of intent to industrialists.
The event covers a 12-acre area with seating for more than 25,000 people, housed under three large domes. A grand exhibition has been arranged in Dome 1, with the following stall distributions:
Department | Stall Purpose | No. of Stalls |
Agricultural Engineering | Machinery & equipment | 15 |
Agriculture & Horticulture | Seeds, fertilizers | 15 |
Horticulture | Food processing | 15 |
Agriculture & Horticulture | Micro irrigation systems | 10 |
Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, MP Agro, Cooperative | Allied farming services | 15 |
Horticulture | Banking support | 5 |
Agriculture | Crop insurance | 2 |
Horticulture | Protected farming (poly house/shade net) | 5 |
Agriculture | FPOs, farmer products | 18 |
Each day of the fair will feature special programs and demonstrations:
Showcase of modern agricultural tools like tractors, happy seeders, and sprinkler systems.
Live booking facility for subsidized equipment.
Sessions on milk, fish, and vegetable production.
Guidance on grain crops, horticulture, gardening, seeds, and fertilizers.
Information on new agricultural start-ups, encouraging youth to become agri-entrepreneurs.
The Agriculture Secretary said the information shared during this fair will help farmers achieve higher productivity at lower costs. Narsinghpur’s black soil is ideal for crops like pulses, oilseeds, and wheat, and the fair will highlight the benefits of organic fertilizers and sustainable practices.
Farmers will also learn about industry technologies related to soybean oil extraction, sugar production, and jaggery making. These initiatives aim to bridge the gap between farming and industry, opening new opportunities for rural development.
After the Narsinghpur event, the next state-level agriculture fair and farmer conference is scheduled to be held in Satna from 8 to 10 June 2025.

With government support, innovative exhibitions, and strong participation, the event is expected to leave a lasting impact on the farming community of Madhya Pradesh.
