Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, said: “We have sold 64,946 tractors in the domestic market during September, a growth of 50% over last year. The Honourable Prime Minister’s decision on the GST rate cut has boosted sales during the first nine days of Navratri, which fell in September this year compared to October last year. Along with this, positive Kharif prospects, an increase in the sowing area, and above-normal monsoon supported growth.”
