Farmers across Uttar Pradesh have until December 31, 2024, to register for the Agri Stack Scheme, which includes the creation of a unique Farmer ID (Kisan Registry). This digital initiative aims to ensure that farmers can easily access benefits from both Central and State Government schemes, such as:
The Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is implementing the Farmer Registry to create a transparent and efficient system for distributing agricultural benefits. This initiative is part of the Agri Stack Scheme and provides a digital ID for every farm. Only registered farmers will be eligible for financial assistance, insurance, subsidies, and other welfare schemes.
The Farmer ID will include details such as the farmer's name, Aadhaar number, mobile number, land ownership records, and e-KYC information.
As of December 28, 2024, significant progress has been made:
District Magistrates are actively organizing camps and campaigns to encourage registration in rural areas.
Farmers can register for their Farmer ID through the following methods:
Registering in the Farmer Registry ensures access to financial assistance, crop insurance, and other welfare benefits. It also reduces paperwork and delays in receiving grants.
Farmers who fail to register by December 31, 2024, will not be able to avail themselves of the benefits of the schemes in the future.
