₹1500 Monthly Installment from Diwali

CM Mohan Yadav recently announced that from October (around Diwali), the installment for Ladli Behna Yojana beneficiaries will be increased to ₹1500 per month. Currently, women are receiving ₹1250 per month. Additionally, an extra ₹250 will be credited to their accounts during Sawan and Rakshabandhan as a festive bonus, making it ₹1500 for that month as well.

The CM also shared that the state is working towards increasing this amount gradually and has set a target of ₹3000 per month by the year 2028.

₹3000 Monthly Goal by 2028

While addressing a virtual conference on Skill Cell Day in Indore, CM Yadav said the Ladli Behna Yojana is a priority. He stated that initially ₹1000 was given, which was later raised to ₹1250, and now it will be ₹1500 from Diwali. By 2028, the plan is to ensure ₹3000 per month for all eligible women.

He reaffirmed this commitment by posting a video on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, asking the sisters not to worry as the government is dedicated to increasing their financial aid.

25 Installments Released So Far

The CM shared that the Ladli Behna Yojana, launched in 2023 by former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has already completed 2 years. The scheme has successfully released 25 monthly installments, with the 26th to be credited in July. This initiative played a crucial role in BJP’s success in the last assembly elections, especially with the support of women voters.
