In June 2025, Escorts Kubota sold a total of 11,498 tractors, compared to 11,245 units in June 2024. This reflects a 2.2% year-on-year growth in overall sales.
Domestic Sales: EKL sold 10,997 tractors in the domestic market this June, slightly lower than 11,011 units sold in June 2024. This marks a 0.1% decline.
Export Sales: The export segment performed strongly, with 501 units sold in June 2025 compared to 234 units in June 2024 — a massive 114.1% growth.
Escorts Kubota attributed the improved sentiment in rural areas to several positive developments:
Timely arrival of the southwest monsoon
Increase in Kharif crop sowing area
The government’s announcement of higher Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for Kharif season crops
With the forecast of above-normal monsoon, good reservoir levels, and expected record harvests, Escorts Kubota is optimistic about the growth of the tractor industry in the upcoming months.
