The solar pump subsidy falls under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Mitra Yojana. During a recent cabinet meeting, it was decided to include solar agricultural pumps within the existing Pradhan Mantri Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. Farmers using permanent electric pumps will also be eligible for solar pump installations in the upcoming phases. The Madhya Pradesh Energy Development Corporation will implement this scheme under Component 'B' of the Central Government's PM Kusum Yojana.
