Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL), a leading name in India’s farm equipment sector, reported a strong tractor sales performance in January 2026. The company’s Agri Machinery Business sold a total of 9,799 tractors, registering a 46.9% year-on-year growth compared to 6,669 units sold in January 2025.
This growth was mainly driven by robust domestic demand, supported by good rural sentiment, active rabi sowing, and continued government support for the agriculture sector.

On the export front, the company maintained positive momentum. Tractor exports stood at 662 units in January 2026, marking an 8.3% growth over 611 units sold in January 2025.
The company also reported solid cumulative performance for the first ten months of FY26.

Export sales rose sharply to 5,525 units, showing a strong 46.6% increase, highlighting improved performance in international markets.
