The Indian tractor market saw strong growth in February 2025, with domestic sales increasing by 14.28%. A total of 59,165 tractors were sold compared to 51,774 units in February 2024. This growth highlights the positive momentum in the sector, despite some fluctuations in market share among key brands.

The leading tractor manufacturer, M&M Group, recorded sales of 23,880 units, reflecting an 18.68% increase from February 2024 (20,121 units). The company also gained 1.50% in market share, reinforcing its strong presence in the industry.

TAFE sold 9,555 tractors in February 2025, marking a 13.01% rise from 8,455 units in February 2024. However, its market share slightly declined by 0.18%, indicating a mixed performance.
The company sold 7,968 units, growing 9.62% from 7,269 tractors in February 2024. Despite a slight 0.57% drop in market share, Escorts Kubota moved up to third place in the domestic market, overtaking Sonalika.

With 7,670 tractors sold, Sonalika recorded a 10.98% increase from February 2024 (6,911 units). However, its market share dropped by 0.38%, reflecting a competitive market scenario.

John Deere achieved 5,771 tractor sales in February 2025, growing 14.57% from 5,037 units in February 2024. Its market share improved by 0.03%, showcasing steady demand for its products.
New Holland reported sales of 2,732 tractors, a 6.76% rise from 2,559 units in February 2024. However, the company’s market share declined by 0.33%, signaling a need for a stronger market approach.
The company saw remarkable growth, selling 419 tractors in February 2025, a massive 738% jump from just 50 units in February 2024. Its market share also increased by 0.61%, strengthening its position.
Preet’s sales dropped by 17.99%, with 319 units sold in February 2025 compared to 389 in February 2024. This also led to a 0.21% decline in market share.
Indo Farm faced a 16.06% decline in sales, selling 298 tractors compared to 355 units in February 2024. Its market share dropped by 0.18%, indicating tough competition.
VST sold 208 tractors, reflecting a 12.24% decline from 237 units in February 2024. However, its market share remained relatively stable, with only a 0.11% drop.
ACE saw a 7.02% increase in sales, reaching 183 units in February 2025, up from 171 in February 2024. Despite the growth, its market share declined slightly by 0.02%.
Captain Tractor, sales fell by 26.36%, with 162 units sold in February 2025 compared to 220 in February 2024. The brand’s market share declined by 0.15%, reflecting weaker demand.
The overall positive trend in tractor sales highlights strong demand in the agricultural sector. However, market competition remains tough, with some brands facing declines in sales and market share.
