Big relief for soybean farmers in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has transferred ₹810 crore directly into the bank accounts of 3.77 lakh soybean-producing farmers under the Soybean Price Difference Payment Scheme (Bhavantar Yojana). The transfer was done with a single click during a state-level conference held in Jaora (Jawra), Ratlam district. The initiative aims to ensure farmers receive a fair price for their soybean produce.

Bhavantar Yojana: A Commitment to Farmers Rights

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said Bhavantar Yojana is not just a scheme, but a reflection of the government’s respect for farmers. He described the transferred amount as the rightful entitlement of farmers and a strong step towards their economic prosperity. The Chief Minister also announced that the year 2026 will be dedicated to farmer welfare, and Krishi Utsav will be celebrated across the state.

₹1,300 Crore Paid So Far to Soybean Farmers

Including the latest transfer, the state government has now paid around ₹1,300 crore as price difference assistance to more than 6.25 lakh soybean farmers. From Ratlam district alone, 12,386 farmers received ₹20.74 crore directly into their accounts during this phase.

Modern Farming and Technology to Reach Every Village

The Chief Minister emphasized that the government is focused on taking modern farming practices, agricultural extension services, and new technologies to every village. This will help farmers make timely and informed decisions. He assured that the government remains fully committed to farmer welfare and the continuous development of the state.

Major Announcements for Farmers, Youth, and Women

Dr. Yadav said that providing employment to every skilled and needy youth is a top priority for the government. He also highlighted that the Ladli sisters are currently receiving ₹1,500 per month, which will be increased to ₹3,000 in the future. Additionally, over 32 lakh farmers will be provided with solar pumps, offering up to 90% subsidy, thereby reducing farming costs and promoting clean energy.

Jaora and Ratlam Receive Development Boost

During the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 33 development projects worth more than ₹145 crore. This included the inauguration of 12 projects worth ₹18 crore and the laying of foundations for 21 projects worth ₹127 crore. He said these works will help make the Ratlam district cleaner, more beautiful, and stronger in civic facilities.

Special announcements included ₹2 crore each for:

  • A modern outdoor and indoor stadium in Jaora

  • A one-stop center for destitute women

  • Construction of a heritage building

  • Repair of an old and dilapidated school

He also announced the construction of girls’ hostels in Shujapur and Pipaluda villages.

Focus on Irrigation, Roads, and Animal Husbandry

Ratlam district will benefit from the Parvati–Kalisindh–Chambal National River Linking Project, which will create permanent irrigation facilities for agriculture. The Chief Minister also shared plans for a modern four-lane highway in the Malwa region, costing around ₹5,000 crore, which will pass through Ratlam district. He assured that farmers’ demands will be given priority during land acquisition.

Public Representatives Praise Government Efforts

Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar said schemes like Bhavantar Yojana are playing a key role in increasing farmers income. Agriculture Minister Andal Singh Kansana praised the Chief Minister’s leadership and said the government is continuously working in farmers interest. Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, MP Sudhir Gupta, Rajya Sabha member Banshilal Gurjar, other public representatives, and a large number of farmers attended the program.

During the event, the Chief Minister visited the agricultural development exhibition and warmly welcomed farmers by showering flowers on them, adding a special touch to the occasion.
