These are connected to ZF's SCALAR cloud platform via the SCALAR EVO Pulse connectivity device.

Regulatory Compliance and Efficiency

The solution is designed to meet the latest GDPR (EU) and UN ECE regulation R141. It provides real-time, data-enriched operational insights, improving trailer performance and reliability. This benefits trailer OEMs and fleet operators by:

  • Improving customer service
  • Optimizing trailer designs
  • Generating cost savings

Hjalmar Van Raemdonck, Head of Digital Solutions at ZF, stated: "This package takes ZF's expertise in innovative trailer components and combines it with our digital skills to develop a solution that benefits both trailer OEMs and fleet operators."

"With close to fifty years of experience in trailer technology development, ZF remains at the forefront of innovation with intelligent components, digital solutions, and services tailored for trailer manufacturers, fleet operators, and leasing companies," stated Christiaan Verschueren, Vice President of Trailer Solutions.

Constancio Villodre, CEO of Parcisa, a Spanish manufacturer of stainless steel and aluminum road tankers, expressed enthusiasm for ZF's new trailer telematics package. He said, "Branded as 'Parcisa Connect,' this innovative solution enables customers to remotely manage their entire fleet.
